My name is Mr. Bauermeister and I am very excited to be your child's 4K teacher for this school year. I am a long time resident of Amery and have been working within the Amery School District since 2013 . I graduated top of my class from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy coin collecting, sports (both playing and watching), and try to get out fishing whenever I can.
In our classroom, we will be doing lots of playing while learning during the school year as there is plenty of research that supports the idea that children learn best through PLAY! I strongly believe in this research so children will be learning through activities that are interesting, engaging, and hands on for them.
