Important Summer School Registration Tips:
- Welcome to 4K Preschool and Welcome to Kindergarten are 8am-12pm classes. No additional classes are needed during the June or August sessions.
- Choose 2 two-hour classes when attending from 8am– 12pm.
- Register for available classes with seats open first. Only join a wait list if your child does not have a registered class at that time. Wait list students are not added to classes if they already have a class on their schedule.
- Academic Reading and Math classes run for three weeks in June and two weeks in August. The material is not repeated. Wait lists are not available for August academics due to a shortage of teachers those weeks.
- Do not register for enrichment classes that are held at the same time as academics. The registration program will not register a child for two classes at the same time this year.
- Pay close attention to the grade level for each course offering. Use the grade the student is currently in and will complete this spring. Registrations for incorrect grade levels will be cancelled.
- Please ensure that your child attends each class for which s/he is registered. Supplies are purchased and teaching contracts are offered based on registration. “Drop-outs” and “no-shows” are unnecessary costs to the school district.
- Out-of-district students who are not open-enrolled in Amery may register for enrichment and/or academic courses from April 1-5.
