How do I find out how much $ is in my lunch account?
The School District of Amery uses PowerSchool for parent and student access to lunch account balances, grades, schedules and more. Login information is available through each school office.
Can I go online to add $ to my student's lunch account?
Yes, you can! The “ e~Funds For Schools ” program is a convenient payment service available to parents. When you select this service, you can make electronic payments through the school's website and eliminate the need for cash or checks for lunch and breakfast payments. Payments may be made from your checking account or debit/credit card.
A parent can pay for all children linked to their account within the same transaction. Clubhouse and School Nutrition payments can be combined into the same transaction.
- Checking Account: $1.50 service fee per transaction with a $750.00 transaction limit.
- Credit/Debit Card: $2.95 service fee per $100 increments with a $1000.00 transaction limit.
Student Meal Account Information
- Every student has his/her individual meal account created and is assigned his/her own ID number.
- Deposits must be made to each individual student account. Please designate the amount to go into each account when you send in a deposit. If not designated, it will be split between students in the family. Deposit Slips
- A positive balance must be maintained in each student meal account in order for a student to eat school meals. High School & Middle School A' la Carte & Extra Entree purchases will not be allowed if the student's account does not have a positive balance. See the district policy on Unpaid Meal Charges.
- An automated phone call will be sent to families with a negative balance. If you receive a call, please add money to your student's account immediately. Your students may not be allowed to participate in the District's meal program until a positive balance is available for use. See the district policy on Unpaid Meal Charges.
- Payments to a student's individual account may be made by sending a check with your student, mailing a check or money order, or in person at any school office. Remember to designate the amount you wish to go into each student's account. You can also add funds online with a credit or debit card using the e~funds for schools program. Only one transaction fee will be charged, even if you are making deposits into multiple student accounts. Contact the School Nutrition Office to get your student's secure ID number and PIN.
How to check your student(s) lunch account balance online:
- Use Powerschool
- Enter parent ID & password (Call the School Nutrition Office or any of the school offices if you need your login ID numbers - 715-268-9771 ext.255)
We encourage you to come in and have lunch with your student! However, with the individual student accounts, we cannot deduct your meal from your student's account. Please purchase a guest meal ticket from the school office before going to the cafeteria on the day you'll be joining us. Since we don't keep a lot of change on hand, exact change or small bills are appreciated.
