Amery Virtual Education
The School District of Amery is able to offer alternative educational options for students. We contract for virtual services with companies who specialize in virtual education courses that meet Wisconsin and national education standards. Students who are enrolled in virtual courses can take their classes at home, yet still receive many of the benefits that come with being a student in the School District of Amery.
What are some of the advantages of Amery's virtual education program?
- Students are members of the school district, and are therefore eligible to participate in WIAA team sports, school music/drama programs, school clubs/organizations, and school-related field trips, etc.
- Students receive an accredited and high quality on-line curriculum at home without having to pay any out-of pocket expenses.
- Students receive a school computer to be used while enrolled in virtual courses.
- Students can earn an Amery High School Diploma as a student enrolled in our virtual program.
Amery High School
Students seeking a virtual option at Amery High School must understand that it is a full semester (half year) commitment to align with graduation standards. Students can enroll before the start of Semester 1, Semester 2, or both, but unfortunately cannot enroll at random other times. Consultation with a School Guidance Counselor and the Principal is required to understand the options.
Amery Middle School, Intermediate School and Lien Elementary
Families seeking a virtual option at the Middle, Intermediate, or Elementary School should reach out to a school building Principal to learn about options and requirements.
