Welcome to the School District of Amery! We are a public PK-12 district of approximately 1,400 students in four buildings on one campus. Amery is one of the highest achieving districts in Western Wisconsin. We are excited to welcome you to the School District of Amery and the Amery community!
Enrollment Eligibility
4K and Early Childhood
Children who are age 4 by September 1 are eligible to enroll in Amery's 4K program. 4K is offered all day every day. Children who are age 3 may be eligible to receive special education services through the Early Childhood Program. If your child has developmental delays, speech/language delays, social concerns, etc., contact the Student Services office at (715) 268-9771, ext. 337 for more information.
Kindergarten through Grade 12
Children who are age 5 (by September 1) and not age 21 or over on the first day of school are eligible for enrollment.
Residency:
According to state guidelines, students must reside in the School District of Amery or must apply and be approved for open enrollment in order to enroll in the Amery Schools. If your child lives in a different school district, learn more about open enrollment and complete the necessary application before proceeding with the enrollment steps below.
Enrolling Your Child(ren)
The School District of Amery uses PowerSchool for convenient online enrollment using a laptop or mobile device. If you are unable to enroll online, you may visit the Enrollment Office in person to use a district device or complete paper forms. Please call ahead to ensure that a staff member is available to assist you.
How to enroll your student:

Complete the pre-registration enrollment form and submit.

Watch for an approval email which will include a link to complete the remainder of your child's enrollment. (Email could take up to 1-2 business days to arrive.) Be sure to have the following information handy when completing your enrollment forms:

Student Information - demographics, health information, dietary restrictions, contact information for previous school
- After you submit your online enrollment, a representative from your child's new school will reach out to share more information and/or set up an appointment to schedule classes (if applicable).

Homeless Liaison:
Every school district and charter school must designate an appropriate staff person as the homeless liaison. Homeless liaisons must be able to carry out the duties as required under the McKinney-Vento Act. The homeless liaison is the key to ensuring homeless children and youth receive the services they need, and is the primary contact between homeless families, school and LEA staff, shelter workers, and other service providers.
