After earning a comprehensive physics/mathematics/education degree from UW-Eau Claire in 1991,  I began my teaching career in Hillsboro, WI.  Five years later I got married and started here at Amery High School.  In 2003, I earned my master's degree in physics education from UW-River falls.  In November of 2012, after a couple years of work, I earned my National Board Certification in Mathematics.  During my time in Amery, I have taught primarily physics, AP physics, algebra, pre-algebra and geometry.  Since becoming an educator, I have coached continuously, both in volunteer and staff positions.  I have helped coach cross countrly, football, wrestling and track.   My wife, Stacie, teaches economics at Hamline University in St. Paul.  We have three children who all attend Amery Schools.        | | | | |
