Teacher - Middle School Email Phone: (715) 268-9771 ext. 341 I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education from UW Oshkosh in 2005. I have been teaching at Amery Middle School ever since. From 2005-2011, I taught 6th grade language arts. In the fall of 2011, I began teaching 6th grade science, which is what I currently teach. I obtained a Master's Degree in Education-Instruction from UW-Superior in May 2022.
I am married to Jake, a water resources scientist and science teacher at Amery High School. We have two children, Willow and Abe. We love being outside, exploring nature, camping, hiking, and biking. Most years, in the spring we tap trees and collect maple sap to make syrup. Fall is a great time for harvesting crops from our garden, and we then preserve many goodies for use throughout the year! We enjoy gathering eggs from our chickens and playing with our yellow lab, Luca.
