Welcome to Amery Intermediate School!

I am excited to have the opportunity to be able to live out my passion of seeing students grow into their best possible self and develop into lifelong learners. I am honored to be a part of this process and look forward to meeting and working with each and every student. Thank you for entrusting yourself and your student(s) with the us.

I have not always been in education but have discovered this passion later in life after many years of running my own full-service horse business. It was through this journey that I discovered what I liked most about the horse business and what I was the best at was connecting with students and building in them the motivation to succeed even when there seemed to be insurmountable barriers to success. The success I saw in these children I had the opportunity to work with fueled my passion to want to be involved and be a positive influence on more children. So, I have closed down my business and I am investing my time, energy, and passion to the students here at Amery.

I am available to all students through a variety of different ways. If you are looking for ways to support your student that we may not yet know about please let me know. I will spend much of my year delivering classroom guidance lessons, working with small groups and individually supporting students' personal, social, academic and career needs.
