Graduating seniors intending to enroll in a Wisconsin private or public college/university or technical school after graduation may enter this essay contest, which will award $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must prepare an essay on the following topic What can Wisconsin's leaders do to increase young adult interest in serving on a town board?"

The St. Croix County Alliance of Sportsman’s Clubs is a community-based conservation club whose members organize a base of civic policy partnerships who share a common need to produce environmental sustainability in 21st century conditions.
Our Club’s purpose is to produce a new governing model for conservation clubs that develops democratic capacity as the means to achieve our Club’s identity.
The following are requirements for this year’s scholarship(s);
- A completed application form – deadline May 31st, 2024 (provided in this packet).
- A one-page (minimum double spaced) letter of interest.
- Attend any post High School learning institution.
- Meet an Alliance approved field of study (we are quite liberal with qualifying majors and minors).
- Meet a passing grade point average in your first semester of study.
- The Alliance awards three $500.00 scholarships to three graduating High School students, from schools located within St. Croix County.
Note: If you are a resident of St. Croix County, but attend a High School outside the County YOU ARE still ELIGIBLE FOR OUR Club’s award. |

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin is now taking applications for the
2024-25 school year!
We are offering $1,000 scholarships to three individuals, one from each of the following categories:
- One Traditional Student with Epilepsy
- One Caregiver of Someone with Epilepsy
- One Non-Traditional Student with Epilepsy
Definitions for each of these categories, application instructions, as well as other information, are available on the application website:

NOTES:
- Applicants must be legal residents of Wisconsin
- Applicants must have an epilepsy diagnosis or be caring for someone with an epilepsy diagnosis
- The application deadline is Monday, June 3, 2024
- Applicants will be notified of their standing no later than Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
- Applicants can be attending any type of higher education institution, including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, technical colleges, or any type of trade school.

Scholarship Information for Students
- The CVTC Foundation offers over 400 scholarship opportunities.
- There are numerous scholarships available for current high school seniors who will be attending CVTC this coming fall.
- Students can apply in a matter of minutes via the online application.
- Student scholarships range in amount from $200 to as much as $5,000. Some of these awards are program specific, but others are open to all CVTC students.
- Any student with a CVTC student ID is eligible to apply. Check out available scholarships and apply by logging onto cvtc.academicworks.com
- Search for program-specific scholarships by entering your program name in the “Search by Keyword” box under “Our Opportunities” or view all scholarships.
- The deadline for these scholarship applications is September 20, 2024.
- Please reach out to cvtcscholarships@cvtc.edu if you would like a member of our staff to come to your classroom and do a short presentation on scholarships.
- A “HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS” guide is attached to this email if students need assistance, in addition, academic services is available to help!
NOTE: Even if your students feel they are not eligible to receive financial aid, please have them consider filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) HERE if they haven’t already completed it already. Numerous CVTC Foundation scholarships are financial need based, and if students haven’t completed the FAFSA, they would not be eligible for those scholarships. |
